How To Buy Diamonds Online For Ridiculously Low Prices

Almost all of us will buy a diamond, a diamond ring or another kind of diamond jewel. Getting married involves buying a diamond ring for your fiance, anniversary rings are also common, and let's not forget men's diamond rings - they are very popular, too.

In the age of information, it makes sense to consider the option of buying a diamond on the Internet. And indeed, mega sites like bluenile.com, diamond.com and more offer a huge selection of diamonds in all shapes and sizes to choose from. Many of the diamonds are certified so you don't risk getting a diamond that is less than promised.

The big diamond sites are a good option for getting a diamond, but in most cases the savings on the price will not be too great - in fact, you may get a similar price if you haggle a bit with a local diamond dealer. The best place to locate real bargains in the diamond field is ebay.com

There has been a lot of talk on buying and selling on ebay, and one ca find good advice about these subjects. Buy in this article we'll discuss specific advice about buying diamonds on ebay.

There are some very simple rules that need to be observed when buying diamonds on ebay. If you follow these rules you are very likely to find great deals on ebay.

Advice no. 1 - Search the right way. Go for the "advanced search" option. There will be an "Exclude these words" box. You want to exclude words like : "lab", "zircon", "enhanced". This will weed out the "wannabe" diamonds and leave you with the best ones.

Advice no.2 - Does the seller have a solid positive feedback? - check the seller's feedback and see that they have at least 50 positive feedbacks form selling diamonds in the past. Also note how many negative feedback they had. Strive for at least %98 positive feedback. In many cases it is tempting to buy a cheap diamond from a new seller, but this is in many cases a bad move, as you have no knowledge on this seller

Advice no.3 - Watch similar diamonds to the one you want and see how much the sell for. Dont buy right away. Just watch a few auctions as they evolve. This will help you establish a range of prices you aim at.

Advice no. 4 - Go for certified. Again, it's tempting to buy an un-certified diamond but in many cases this will be a big mistake. Go for certified diamonds only and this way you'll make sure you get what you paid for, no less.

Advice no. 5 - Use ebay as a means of pressure. If you have a local diamond dealer who is trying to sell you a diamond, you may want to use the price levels you see on ebay as leverage in your negotiation with that dealer. You may get a better deal.

Going online to buy a diamond can save you thousands of dollars. Give this approach a try the nest time you go shopping for a diamond.

Choosing The Right Health Plan For You And Your Family

Health insurance can be a confusing. So as a service to our customers we put together this handy little guide to help them decide what their needs really are. These are the types of questions that everyone should ask them selves when considering purchasing a health insurance plan. Money is hard to come and by taking a moment to seriously evaluate your needs, you may be surprised at how much money you can save when shopping for a health plan. There is no point in paying for coverage you will never use!

The following is a brief list of some guidelines and recommendations for choosing a health care plan. Please browse thru this article as it offers some important things to consider when choosing the right health care plan for you, your family, or your business.

1. What is your budget for a health care plan? How much do you think you can afford to spend each month to maintain your health care plan?

2: Type of plan you need: Ask yourself some hard questions: Do you need a major medical plan, a high deductible plan, a health discount plan, prescriptions, maternity coverage, routine care, or dental? .

3. How often do you go to the doctor? Some medical plans will cover routine doctors office visits with unlimited use but they are much more expensive than those that have some limits to doctors office visits. If you never go to the doctor, a plan that includes this type of unlimited benefit would be a waste of your money. Some health insurance policies will cover routine "Wellness Visits" at little or no cost to the policyholder.

4. Do you take any medications? Some health insurance plans include prescription drug coverage. If you don't take any medications, having a health insurance policy that covers prescriptions may be a waste of your money. If you do take medications, make sure that the plan you purchase has enough benefits to it to make it worth the added cost to have prescriptions included in the plan.

5. Do you travel much? If you travel a lot you may want to look for a plan that doesn't require you to stay within a network. The insurance benefit that a company pays out is always better if you can stay within that companies network. Some companies use nationwide networks while others may use more localized networks.

6. Are you self-employed? Self-employed people will likely have different needs than people who work for a large company. It is important to make sure your insurance policy will cover you while you are working. Not all of them will!

7. Do you plan on having children? Maternity coverage is very expensive to add to a policy. Nearly all health insurance companies require you to have a policy in force with them for at least nine months prior to becoming pregnant. If you become pregnant before the end of the waiting period, the insurance company will not cover the pregnancy or the delivery.

8. Are there any medical conditions that are considered "pre-existing"? Most health insurance will have some very strict guidelines for covering pre-existing medical conditions. However, many of the discount programs and the guaranteed acceptance discount programs have no waiting periods or pre-existing condition exclusions. These may be a good option for you. This depends largely on what the condition is and how urgent the need for care is.

9. Do you need dental and vision coverage? Sometimes a dental or vision insurance plan can be like throwing your money away. Several of the discount plans offer exceptional savings at rates that are much lower than the insurance plans. If you need major dental work right away, the dental insurance policies may not be your best choice, as they will have waiting periods for up to 1 year before major dental work will be covered. If this is the case for you, the dental discount plans are your best choice, as they have no waiting periods or limits.

10. Who will the benefits cover? Adding people to an insurance policy can cause the rates to go up. The more people on the insurance plan, the higher the risk of financial loss to the insurance company, therefore the rate must be higher.

Keeping money in your pocket is much easier than making it if you are armed with the proper knowledge about what you are shopping for.

Which Surveillance Camera System Is Right For My Business?

If you own a business, you know that theft occurs by your customers and employees. Employee theft exceeds $8.5 billion annually! 75% of inventory shortages are attributed to employee theft. (National Restaurant Association). It's been reported that over 75% of internal theft is undetected, and growing at a 15% annual rate (Justice Department). All this dishonesty costs American businesses between % and 3% of their gross sales! Even 1% costs over one billion dollars a week in employee theft.

The results of all this? 30% of business failures are due to poor hiring practices by hiring thieves. Annual losses generated by poor hires, absenteeism, drug abuse, and theft amount to $75 billion per year. (U.S. Department of Commerce-Atlanta Business Chronicle.). While we can't screen your employees, you can keep an eye on them, and a video surveillance system is one of the best ways to do it.

When choosing a video surveillance camera system, there are several things to consider: Hidden Cameras vs. Visible Cameras Wireless Cameras vs. Wired Cameras Indoor Systems vs. Outdoor Systems Video Recording vs. DVR Recording

Hidden Cameras vs. Visible Cameras Hidden Cameras The first thing you want to consider is whether you want your cameras to be visible or not. Modern technology has reduced a video camera down to miniature levels. Hidden cameras can be hidden behind a pinhole, and can be put in practically any everyday item in your house or office, in a briefcase or backpack, or even hidden in a hat or behind a button. The advantage is that the criminal won't know they are being recorded, and you should catch more theft. Hidden cameras could be more expensive then visible cameras.

Visible Cameras A visible camera system consists of any number of visible cameras from the black dome cameras you see in most stores, to the old fashioned kinds on brackets pointing at you at the bank. There are also high resolution cameras that can zoom in to tight detail. The advantages of these types of systems is that your criminal will know they are being watched, and that should deter a lot of crime that normally would occur without the cameras.

Even a series of dummy camera's, camera bodies with no working parts except a flashing red light, are proven to deter crime. If you don't have the funds for a working video surveillance system, just installing four to twelve dummy cameras fools the criminal into thinking you have a real system in place.

Wireless Cameras vs. Wired Cameras You have two choices for the type of surveillance system, wireless and wired. Both have advantages and disadvantages;

Wireless Camera System Wireless camera systems are the fastest systems to install, as you just need to mount the cameras, hook up the wireless receiver in the back room, and wire it all together to a power box and some type of system to record the video.

The advantages of wireless cameras are that they can be installed in locations that are difficult, if not impossible to wire. They can be moved to different locations easily, as often as you like, and if the need arises, they can be hidden inside a moving object like inside your cloth, cap, briefcase or carrying bag etc.

To overcome the disadvantages of a wireless camera, you should buy one with a higher frequency transmission band of at least 1.2GHz or above. If you need to take video from the wireless camera a long distance from the receiver, or there are walls, metallic or steel obstacles between the wireless camera and the receiver, you should buy a wireless model with a higher transmission power, that is, a transmitter with longer transmission distance. Another good idea is to use a high gain antenna for the transmitter or receiver, which will improve the signal transmission/reception.

The disadvantages of wireless cameras are that the video stream might be disturbed or influenced by moving objects or strong radio or even telephone frequencies. Video/audio transmission is limited within the prescribed transmission range. These disadvantages will not occur with a wired camera.

Wireless camera systems are also more expensive than wired systems, as they require a lot of receivers and transmitters to received the video that normally would run in the inexpensive wires. However, the costs are usually worth it, as it could cost less to install, and less to relocated. Overall, the video/audio signals from a wireless camera are less stable than a wireless camera.

Wired Camera Systems Wired camera systems are more stable due to the cable, which doesn't have the interference problems associated with wireless systems. You need to run a video cable to each camera in order to get a video feed. You will have to run the wire either through the walls and ceiling, or have it exposed on the wall. While the cost of the system is less than a wireless system, it will require more work to install, and if you are paying someone, it might cost more than buying a wireless system.

You should look at the total costs to purchase and install both systems and go with what is best for you. Overall, the video/audio signals from a wired camera are more stable than a wireless camera.

Indoor Systems vs. Outdoor Systems Depending on your needs, you will need a camera for indoor or outdoor needs. If you need to monitor your loading dock, you will need a camera that can withstand the elements. Unless it's specifically sold as an outdoor camera, a regular camera can't withstand the beating from Mother Nature that a weatherproof camera can endure.

You can find many types of outdoor camera, dome, bullet, and standard. All are enclosed in waterproof cases and some even have heaters for cold areas. You can also buy hardened cameras that will withstand direct hits from bats and hammers. These are recommended in high crime areas.

Video vs. DVR recording You need to determine if you want to record the activity, or just hire someone to monitor it. It's a good idea to record the video so you can give a copy to law enforcement for future needs. You have two choices, VCR or DVD.

VCR allows you to record the video with a Video Cassette Recorder (VCR) directly to a VHS tape. You can use a bank of standard VCR's, or there are high density VCR's that allow you to record days of video. Some come with motion detectors and won't record unless the video changes. The disadvantages are that you have to know about what time the event occurred, or you will have to review all the tape sequentially, or on fast forward.

The latest technology is using a DVR or PC based DVR system to record the video to disc. The advantages are a DVD can be burned from the digital recording. This is the easiest system to review your recordings, as you can jump ahead to any point in the recording, unlike the VHS tape. The initial cost will be larger than a VCR system, though you won't need to buy tapes, and the ease of use will be worth the extra money for a DVR based system.

You have two types of DVR systems, DVR recorder and PC based. DVR recorders feed the video directly into the hard drive or disc on the recorder and you either burn the disc, or back up the hard drive. These come in a variety of sizes, from standard sizes for indoor uses, down to field use DVRs the size of a pack of cigarettes that can record up to 60 hours of video from a hidden surveillance camera.

Your other option is the PC based surveillance system that uses a Personal Computer, a video capture card, and software as a control center that can not only record the video and burn it to disc, a quad can be installed to monitor the feeds on real time over a computer screen, and break it up into quadrants to monitor multiple cameras at the same time, in real time.

We have only just scratched the surface of video surveillance systems with this brief overview, and future articles will focus on the pros and con's of what is out there, and is it right for you.

Don't delay installing a surveillance system for your home or business. You never know when crime will strike and it is too late after the fact. Get it on disc so the police can arrest the criminals.Deedee Blog54002

Piano Restoration

Pianos are one of the loveliest instruments one can own, and make some of the most loyal companions. Pianos aren't to be taken lightly and you should care for them as you would any other expensive item. For pianos, care is especially important as the more you take care of them, the better they become.

Pianos, like some pets, are bought and loved, then slowly forgotten. They become dusty and out of tune, sitting and waiting until someone decides they want to play again fifteen years later. But what happened? It's out of tune, dirty and doesn't sound like it used to. Do you throw it away? You could, but there are better options, like piano restoration.

Piano restoration can make any old instrument come alive again and work as well or better than it once did. Imagine that gorgeous old baby grand, cleaned up and in tune, ready to be played again. A good piano technician can make your old piano sound better than it ever did, even when it was brand new.

Like any other instrument, pianos have limited lifespan. However, different parts on pianos also have different life spans, and this is one of the main reasons piano restoration can be so effective/ For example, on an instrument that saw heavy use over its life, the hammers might be worn while the soundboard could be alive and kicking, so to speak, for decades more.

Thus, having a piano technician look at your instrument every couple years and replace worn parts can eliminate the need for deeper, more intensive restoration later on. Though piano restoration is a very good thing, it should only be done on expensive pianos or on pianos with sentimental value, because it is also relatively expensive.

Its cost lies in the tediousness and the time involved in rebuilding or restoring a badly damaged or decrepit piano. For example, imagine a piano where some of the action parts, like the hammers, ribs and strings, are still in good condition, but the body is worn and cracked in areas, and the bridges are about to go out.

A good piano restorer could rebuild and replace the worn parts and tweak the okay parts so they are better than before. A good rule of thumb is that, when a piano technician assesses your piano and says repair, the cost will be mild to medium depending on the repair. Maintenance is in the same bracket, but restoration is a clue that it is getting more expensive, and rebuilding is even more intensive.

So while restoration can be an excellent venture if you love your piano immensely, if it holds sentimental or historical value or if it is valuable enough to justify the expense, don't do it if you have only lukewarm feelings about the piano and don't use it much. You will be better off selling your piano to a technician who will rebuild and resell it, and buying a newer one with part of the money from the sale.

Home Remedies for the Common Cold

Most people have their own home remedies for the common cold. Some of these can be supported by scientific research. Researchers are still trying to find out how to cure the common cold, but in all likelihood, there will never be a cure, only a treatment.

Chicken soup? Chicken contains selenium, an important trace element for proper immune system function and overall good health. If you ask someone how to cure the common cold and they recommend chicken soup, it is probably because they know that it makes them feel better. The warm soup soothes the throat. The steam can temporarily decongest the nose, making it easier to breathe. Adding onions, garlic and pepper, some other home remedies for the common cold, can increase this effect. Plus, these spicy additions are easier to taste and smell. Both of these senses are slightly diminished by common cold symptoms.

Honey and lemon tea? Lemon juice is a good source of vitamin C, which is important for proper immune system function. Herbal teas, made from mullein, sweetened with honey and lemon can be very soothing to the throat and can temporarily open clogged breathing passages. Horehound tea can also be used to relieve coughs. Green tea has been the subject of a number of studies and has been shown to effectively increase energy and metabolism. Honey should not be given to small children.

Orange juice? Another good source of vitamin C, juices and fluids are frequently used home remedies for the common cold and increased fluids are typically recommended by doctors and other health care professionals to reduce the likelihood of becoming dehydrated. Research about how to cure the common cold indicates that vitamin C supplementation may reduce the duration of cold symptoms.

Steam baths and humidifiers? While inhaling steam may reduce congestion temporarily, there is no evidence that it reduces duration of symptoms. Some experts believe that a dry nose is more susceptible to viral infection. But, using a room humidifier or sitting in a steamy bathroom may not relieve symptoms. Researchers looking for an answer to how to cure the common cold found that the rhinovirus and other common cold viruses are more active in lower humidity, which may be one of the reasons that people have more colds in the winter months, when humidity is lower. But, these viruses thrive in the warm and moist conditions that are always present in the nose.

Rest? Rest is always important to human health, but particularly so during viral infections. One of the often recommended home remedies for the common cold is to rest in bed. Whether or not bed rest reduces the duration of a cold has not been studied, but is still recommended by doctors and other experts. Some people maintain that how to cure the common cold is to spend the day in bed. Certainly, this is a common cold remedy that has no side effects; it cant hurt you.

Discount Baby Furniture could Save You a Small Fortune

New parents and those who are soon to become parents are often shocked by all the things that are needed for babies. There is so much stuff out there that they recommend babies have that it seems one could go broke in the process.

It is true that you will be a lot of stuff to care for your new baby but it doesn't have to cost as much money as you think. You can find all of the stuff that you need at prices significantly below typical retail.

Consignment Baby Shops

A great place to go shopping for stuff for babies is local consignment stores. There are a variety of popular chains as well as other locally owned shops. These stores carry used products at prices sometimes well below retail. You can find baby clothes, cribs, strollers, diaper bags, bouncy seats, and much more at consignment shops for babies. Be careful though as sometimes these items will be priced as high as they would be brand new. Comparison shop and keep an eye out for good deals.

Discount Internet Stores

You can often find good deals on baby stuff through Internet stores which can sell for much lower prices than traditional brick and mortar stores because they have less overhead. Many people are afraid to buy products online because of security issues. This is really not a concern anymore if a few precautions are taken. Review the site where you like to do business carefully. Take a look at their customer service and return policies. Make sure that you're comfortable with doing business there. Always use a major credit card for all Internet purchases. By using a credit card you are protected if your card should become compromised anyway. Most credit card companies will not hold you liable for any charges that result from fraud.

Online Auctions

Did you know that you can also buy products for babies at a variety of online auctions? Online auctions are quickly becoming one of the most popular avenues for shopping online. You can buy everything from diaper bags to bouncy seats at online auctions.

This is another area where you want to protect yourself by taking a few precautions. Make sure that the seller you buy from has good ratings from prior customers and an established track record.

It doesn't have to cost a lot to find great deals on products for babies.

These days, the number of baby room decorating ideas are practically limitless due to the many different items available to expecting parents. It should be interesting and fun to look at for the baby, to provide the right amount of stimulation.

Decorating a baby room can be as simple as choosing a teddy bear theme and then going from there. For example, your steps for the teddy bear theme when decorating a baby room may be as follows:

* Furniture among the most appealing baby room furniture is that made out of solid wood because of its classic elegance and reliable quality. The furniture may include a crib, dresser, changing table, and rocking chair, depending on your budget and the amount of space you have in the nursery.

* Walls baby room decorating with teddy bears can mean the standard classic brown bears, or bears of different colors. You can stencil them, paint a mural, or add some wallpaper.

* Floors many people dont even think about the floors as a part of decorating a baby room. However, the floors really do finish the look, with hardwood, soft carpeting, or pleasant throw rugs.

* Bedding it is extremely simple to find adorable teddy bear baby room decorating ideas for bedding. There will be ample sets to choose from in every store you visit. Just make sure that they are of good quality, are machine washable (and dryable), hypoallergenic, and, of course, are very soft.

Why Should One Use Search Engine Optimization

Its morning and John wakes up, same as he does everyday. He starts the computer and begins checking his email and reviewing his websites stats. $15 in Adsense and 1 sale .. good, good but still Id wish those were $500 and 10 sales . He closes the stats and goes to work in order to get the payment that helps him live a good life.

Mark is also waking up, making a cup of coffee and then sitting comfortably at his laptop. He opens his websites stats and his heart starts beating a bit faster while he reads on the screen $399 in Adsense and 5 sales last night good, but I WANT IT BETTER . He closes the stats, eats a quick breakfast and then sits back again at his laptop and starts working on his websites in order to improve the stats. He doesnt need to go to work as his websites bring enough income to help him live very well.

Now the question is simple: who would you prefer to be? John or Mark? Do you like to go and work for your boss and help him make money so you can earn your living ? Or do you want to be your own boss and have your own business? Because yes, these days, having a good site IS a business. If your answer is John then youd better stop reading this article and get to more serious things. But if instead you would prefer to be Mark then it may be useful to continue reading. Ok, ok but what does having a good site mean? I have a great design, I have great online support, great products and offers, great site functionality but still I dont get the expected income? If you ask yourself this than take 2 minutes to think about: Who am I receiving money from? The design? The functionality of the site? No, what really brings the money is, in fact, the traffic, the people who visit the site and order the services/products or who simply click on the Google ads.

Now that we found out that the traffic is what makes the webmaster happy, we should ask ourselves how we can get this traffic to our sites. Well, there are several methods of doing this, but nowadays, search engine optimization (SEO) is the method that brings the best targeted traffic. If you want to build a strong business which could provide you more than a decent income, than you should use SEO.

To succeed with a SEO campaign, one must follow three major steps: keywords analysis, on page SEO and off page SEO. The keywords analysis part has to be done in order to assure that you have picked the best keywords ( the ones that will get you the highest number of visitors in the shortest time ).

Cheap Secured Loan How Cheap Can I Go?

When you hear the word cheap what does it conjure up for you? Can it be the pair of shoes that you are wearing or the new house that you purchased not long ago? So no matter what the product is having something of a better quality but at a cheaper rate, how often would you not jump at the chance to possess something like that. If you are that type of person, then may be it is time for you to look at getting a cheap secured loan. These kinds of loans have been specifically set up to fulfill a persons financial requirements. Often such loans will help a customer to obtain a cheaper and more accessible rate than any other loans that are currently available.

However, a secured loan is a loan where the borrower must place collateral against the amount of the loan that they have taken out. The collateral they use can either be a house, car or any other related asset and works as security on behalf of the borrower. A cheaper secured loan is a secured loan which is provided to the borrower at a lower rate of interest than normally provided by the lender and certainly this type of interest rate is always an added benefit to any borrower. Often these type of loans the lending company or bank will offer the borrower a longer repayment period, which is often an additional benefit to those borrowers who choose to opt for these types of loans.

Often a cheap secured loan can be used for a variety of purposes such as the borrower wants to purchase a new car, or take a vacation or it may be that they want to make some improvements to their home. Some people even use such loans for consolidate debts that they already have into one easy to manage account.

Often such secured loans come at a lower rate of interest than normal loans because they are secured against the borrowers property and will often have the added benefit of a flexible repayment period. With such loans one can often borrower a larger sum of money and the loans offered can range from 5,000 to 100,000. However, the amount being offered really depends on the security being offered by the borrower. As mentioned previously such loans will provide the provider with an extended repayment period and because of this the borrower often gets a cheaper interest rate and can pay the loan back over a longer and more easily manageable period of time. Often the period time in which the loan has to be paid back generally ranges from between 5 to 25 years.

You can easily obtain a cheap secured loan from the many different banks, lending societies and financial institutes that are around. But the best method of obtaining a cheap secured loan is by going online. Using this method the borrower has access to a large number of loans that are available from trusted lenders. This method allows a borrower to look at and read the terms and conditions of the lenders loan facilities and thus make a qualified assessment of all the facilities that are available to them.

Dallas (Season 4) DVD Review

Nominated for 18 Emmys and 15 Golden Globes in its thirteen season run, Dallas is the epitome of the prime-time drama/soap opera genre. Premiering in 1978 as a five part mini-series, the show combines the usual sex and innuendo of classic afternoon soap operas with the freewheeling adventure of Texas wildcats and filthy rich capitalist oil barons. The combination of business dealings and rampant affairs tested well with both the male and female demographic, prompting CBS to make Dallas a regular part of its prime-time lineup. The result was one of the most successful television shows in history. In fact, the so-called Who shot J.R.? episode (A House Divided Air Date: 3-21-1980) still reigns as the second most watched TV show in history (the season finale of MASH is #1). With one of most memorable characters ever created (the man everyone loves to hate), its no surprise that Dallas held the #1 or #2 spot in the Nielsen ratings for most of the 1980s

Dallas spent most of its television life in the Friday night time slot following the successful CBS series, The Dukes Of Hazzard. Creator David Jacobs originally intended to create a series around a poor Texas girl, Pam Barnes (Victoria Principal), who marries into a wealthy family (The Ewings) with whom her family has been feuding for decades. The first five episodes mostly center around the family discord faced by Pam and her husband Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy) as they attempt to bring their families to a truce. But it soon became apparent to producers of the show that Bobbys scoundrel of a brother, Ewing Oil President J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman), would be the true star of the show. Son of Ewing Oil founder Jock Ewing (Jim Davis) and his wife Ellie (Barbara Bel Geddes), J.R. sought to make Ewing Oil the largest independent oil company in the world, and he intended to go to any lengths necessary to get what he wanted. And as youll see, sooner or later, J.R. always gets what he wants Along the way, he butts heads with life-long rival Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval), drives his own wife Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) to alcoholism, and even mortgages the beloved Southfork Ranch (Miss Ellies childhood home and current residence for the majority of the Ewing clan). Southfork foreman Ray Krebs (Steve Kanaly) and Ewing grandchild Lucy (Charlene Tilton) add flavorful subplots to a series often dominated by J.R.s nefarious schemes. In short, Dallas offers its viewers everything money, sex, violence, conspiracy, intricate business dealings, etc. If you havent seen it, then immediately start watching from the beginning episodes of the first season. You wont be disappointed!

The Dallas (Season 4) DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the season premiere No More Mister Nice Guy in which the shooting of J.R. forces Bobby to temporarily take over Ewing Oil while his older brother recovers. The promotion slowly changes Bobby into the vindictive brother he always loathed. Meanwhile, Sue Ellen wonders if she shot J.R. herself while mired in the foggy haze of a drinking binge Other notable episodes include Start the Revolution with Me in which J.R. attempts to orchestrate a counter-revolution in order to regain the Ewings Asian oil wells that were nationalized shortly before his shooting, and the season finale Ewing-Gate in which J.R.s underhanded dealings in the Asian oil deals threaten to bring down all of Ewing Oil

Below is a list of episodes included on the Dallas (Season 4) DVD:

Bed Wetting Dos and Donts for Parents

There are many dos and donts that parents should be aware of in regards to their children who suffer from bed wetting. Lets take a look at the dos and donts of this common childhood problem.

First of all do speak with your childs pediatrician at the first sign that bed wetting has developed into a problem. Never keep this kind of information from the doctor as he or she can be a wealth of information, advice and can also serve to put your mind, as well as your childs mind, at ease.

Do explain to your anxious or frightened child what is taking place in regards to his or her bed wetting situation and be open and honest with all of the questions that your child wants to ask you.

If you were a bed wetter as a child, do share your experience with your experience with your youngster so he or she feels less alone. It is comforting to know that someone you love once experienced what you are presently going through.

Do educate yourself as best you can in regard to your childs bed wetting. There is plenty of information to be found on the Internet, plus your local library should also have some books. As well talk to your doctor and he might be able to direct you to a support group. The more armed with information you are, the better you will feel in coping with the situation.

Do remain as patient and as calm as possible under the trying circumstances. You are upset enough by the situation, just think how your child must feel.

Do be understanding ands supportive of your bed wetting child. He likely feels a great deal of shame, self-ridicule and fear at his bed wetting problem. Try to diffuse the situation as best as you can.

Do reward your child for dry nights on a consistent basis. The consistent basis is very important. Being inconsistent in parenting in any area will not get you very far and it accomplishes little.

Do everything you can to make your child feel as comfortable and secure as possible (both physically and emotionally). For example you might suggest that your child wear thicker underwear or pajamas to bed at night.

Do try as many different kinds of treatments as possible for your child until you find one that works.

Do make an honest attempt to alter habits your child has that can contribute to the problem, such as drinking fluids right before bedtime or consuming too much caffeine.

Dont criticize your child or make him feel ashamed of bed wetting. He probably feels bad enough already without you making him feel worse.

Dont blame your child for his condition. This can damage his vulnerable self-esteem tremendously.

Dont scold or punish your child for bed wetting. He is not doing it deliberately to be bad and it does in no one reflect negatively on your parenting skills.

Dont prohibit your child from spending the night at a friends house or going camping because of his condition. Instead encourage him to enjoy the activities he enjoys and take steps to end the bed wetting problem for good.

What is the Definition of Medical Malpractice?

You may not know that this is a very widespread problem. Ever year people die from being misdiagnosed and treated for the wrong disease. The difference can be life and death! Many of these cases are never recognized and reported. If you are the victim of a case like this, you may not be aware of your rights. This is why it is important to have a clear definition of medical malpractice. You don't want to have to take the word of the doctors. This is the reason so many cases go unreported.

Ever physician must have insurance against these kinds of claims. This is a way of protecting themselves. As the number of suits filed rises, the cost to keep this kind of insurance also rises, causing doctors financial hardships. In addition, the number of providers who sell this kind of insurance has been decreasing. As a result, it is becoming harder for doctors to practice. Many must move to a new location where their premiums are lower.

But what can we file a suit against? If a doctor does not treat a problem correctly, this can cause new problems to arise, and this would qualify. If, through the negligence of the doctor, a diagnosis is given too late for the treatment to do any good, this too is something you can file against. If the doctor applies the wrong treatment for the wrong disease, this is also considered.

There is a variety of things that can go wrong when the patient is under anesthesia or undergoing surgery that are easily preventable by the doctor. The doctor may prescribe the wrong medication for the patient, or the incorrect dosage, and complications can arise. If this is the doctor's fault, you may be able to file a suit.

These suits are usually expensive and complicated. Before filing, you must keep in mind that you will be required to present many documents. Your physical health and history will become a part of the lawsuit. This is why it is important to document everything that happens involving your health. Even things that seem unimportant may be vital to establishing who is liable. You must be prepared to be under this kind of scrutiny by the court. You must also keep track of all the medications you have taken, and it is good to document individual conversations you have had with your doctor.

How to Quit your Day Job with Turnkey Websites

It's one of the hottest searched terms on the internet right now: Turnkey Websites.

What are they exactly? According to Wikipedia, The term turnkey is often used in the technology industry, most commonly to describe pre-built computer "packages" in which everything needed to perform a certain type of task is put together by the supplier and sold as a bundle.

In other words, turnkey websites usually refers to getting a pre-built fully-loaded website for one low price, including its domain name, design, images, programming and at times, also the dropshipper contact info to deliver the products if it's an e-commerce website or the ebooks that the website is selling.

How exactly do you make a living with turnkey websites? By getting them through a low cost turnkey website provider and selling them over and over again on venues like ebay not only do you secure the customer's money with the final cost of the auction, but you secure this same customer as your hosting customer who will pay you around $9.95 every month for however long they keep their website.

But you know nothing about servers and the hosting business? So what most of my hosting resellers have never even owned an html editor before, but they're making thousands of dollars a month following my user-friendly plan. Here is exactly what you need to make a lot of money by selling turnkey websites:

1. A hosting reseller account (http://www.designshrine.net/host/reseller.html)
2. A membership to a turnkey website provider (http://www.designshrinephpfactory.com/)
3. A free html editor (we recommend NVU)
4. An ftp program (we recommend FlashFXP)
5. An account with ebay

That's it! Here is the process:

1. You log into your turnkey website membership and download, say, one of the Real Estate websites.

2. You purchase a domain for it and set the Domain Name Servers to your hosting reseller account (i.e. ns1.yoursite.com and ns2.yoursite.)

3. You install the downloaded turnkey website to your hosting reseller server.

4. You list it on eBay with the description that they will win this fabulous Turnkey Real Estate website and it is REQUIRED THAT THEY HOST THE SITE WITH YOU for $9.95 per month (or whatever you want to charge).

4. Auction ends and let's says you made $175 for the website alone, on the low side. You just made $175 PLUS WHO KNOWS HOW LONG IN RESIDUAL INCOME from the $9.95 per month! We have resellers making about $12,000 per month within one and a half years, but you can realistically expect about $2000 per month within the first 8 months or less.

5. You next install a Term Paper Store with a snappy domain and once again, you made another $9.95 per month.

6. Then the ebook store gets you another $9.95 per month.

TURNKEY WEBSITE SELLING IS GREAT BUT THE REAL MONEY IS IN THE HOSTING. You get the idea. You're selling information.

The only requirements of most turnkey website membership stores is that you are required to sell their websites with a domain already installed onto your server. You can never sell the script as they do or your account will be terminated.

This is not a get rich quick scheme or a slap 'em up website that you hope will make you money just by existing on the internet that NEVER happens. Like any business, it takes some sweat equity but not very much. Normally it takes about 2 hours per day in installing websites (usually takes about 5 10 minutes each) and answering questions from potential buyers.

When you quit your day job, you will have so many customers that you will be working 8 hours a day as I do, but it's all worth it working at home or your own office with no one to answer to but yourself is worth everything in the world!

Finding The Right Piano Study Technique

Learning to play the piano can be trying at times. It doesn't matter if you are just starting out, or if you have played for years, sometimes it feels like you just aren't getting anywhere at all. And, no matter how long you sit and study and play the piano, you are bombarded with the old adage "Practice makes perfect". But, how can you study the piano if you aren't really sure what you're supposed to be doing? Well, every good piano player should know that studying the piano is more than just practicing. Studying the piano involves playing all different works to help your fingers continually train and stretch, reading through music and understanding every work before you master it, how long you can practice, and how well you can use your study time.

Every piano player needs to find the study technique(s) that will help them to learn better and faster, and usually it's trial and error that will point this out to you. Some piano instructors will help you find the right study technique by giving you several tips and ideas that helped them, while others will simply tell you to "go home and practice". But, if you are not playing correctly while you are practicing, you are simply defeating the whole purpose of practice. So, how do you know what to do when studying the piano?

Study Techniques To Help You Improve

While there are millions of ways to study the piano, there are some techniques that will always provide help to any player, new or old:

Make sure that your practice area is free of all distractions, such as the television, phone, loud music, and even other people if needed. Having a quiet place to read, study, and practice can help you more than anything while you are learning.

Read through your music or assignment. Every piano instructor will either assign you or show you some great practice suggestions for your study at home. There is a reason for these, and you should always do any practice pieces at home when you can.

Study and practice the piano every day. No matter if you can only set aside thirty minutes per day to study, you need to be sure that you are practicing each day. Once you have your study time down, you should continue to study at that same time, every day.

When you sit down to practice, make sure that the sheet music is easy for you to read and that you have enough light to see it. There is no need to strain your eyes or try to play something that you can't read.

When you are working on learning a long piece, don't try to cram it all in at one study session. You should break it up into smaller pieces and learn each of them in order so you will be prepared and ready to play the whole thing through.

As you break down each section in the piece, you should play through them slowly at first, making sure that each note, pitch, melody, tune, and rhythm is right and in the right spot. There is no need to study that piece if you play the same mistakes over and over. By practicing each work correctly, and slowly, for a few times, you're fingers will know where to go and what to do when they get there.

When you have a good study session, you should reward yourself by playing something that you already know and love after something new and hard. By playing something that you are already good at, you will bolster your self esteem and let you know that you are a good piano player, and practice will have you playing this new, hard piece in no time too.

You should take your teacher's suggestions and tips home with you. By using their advice, you will find all sorts of new avenues of study and play that you didn't know before. After all, it took them years of practice and study to get where they are, so they have done something right!

Find a musical dictionary. This will help you study your pieces the right way by telling you what each Italian term on your music means, such as Allegro vivace, so you don't get confused while practicing or playing. Knowing what the original composer meant and wanted that particular line to sound like will help you become a better player.

Experiment. Use different study techniques until you find some that work for you. Everyone has different ways of learning, whether it's by reading all about the piano and the work that you are trying to learn, or whether it's sitting down and playing it over and over until you get it right and can play it in your sleep, each different piano player will have to experiment to find that perfect study technique for them.

Listen, Learn, and Play

While you are in class, you should always listen to your piano instructor. This means that you should soak in everything you possibly can, from new techniques that you need to master to where the next good piano concert will be and when. By knowing new techniques that you can use, you will find that you'll be able to get these new techniques into your routine and help you on the road to becoming a better piano player. By attending some of the better piano concerts around your area, you will have time to study each different piano player and see how they play, read, study, and much more. When you are able to watch the better piano players, you will become better as well, as you should learn something from each different performance.

Once you have found a few new techniques for studying the piano, you can take them all home and try them out on your instrument. Make sure that you either memorize the techniques or that you write them down before you stop your practice for the day. By memorizing or writing down the new technique that you have learned that day, you are less likely to forget it the next morning.

Earning Thousands By Affiliate Selling

Affiliate selling online can make you the ultimate virtual sales representative. You can literally sell any product on the market today to consumers all around the world. With aggressive techniques, you can earn thousands in commissions without leaving the comforts of your own home.

An affiliate seller is like a traffic director of merchandising. He/she signals the oncoming consumer traffic to the companies that supply the products in which they are searching. Consequently, when a sale is made from your directed or redirected traffic, you get a commission of the sale. Thousands of Internet businesses utilize this every dayseven days a week and 365 days of the year. But is it as easy as it sounds? Absolutely!

The majority of major online companies offer affiliate marketing and commission programs and each and every one of them will, no doubt, welcome you in assisting in getting their products to the public. Many have either established their own affiliate program or use affiliate companies such as Commission Junction and LinkShare. Check out the online companies that want you to work for them.

Amazon.com Amazon is practically the most popular online marketplace in the world. Known as the go to place to find books, Amazon sells everything from beauty products and apparel to electronics and power tools. Amazon supplies a comprehensive section for its affiliates. The site is http://associates.amazon.com. Once you sign up, Amazon supplies you with a tool (on their website) in which any affiliate (Amazon refers to them as associates) can create attractive links to the specific product you wish to advertise. Furthermore, Amazon will supply affiliates detailed information on the items sold through the efforts of the associate.

Walmart.com and Target.com Both of these companies are powerhouses in retail sales all across the United States. They have managed to build corporate presences due to their versatile ability to supply customers with the opportunity of one stop shopping. They are attempting to establish the identical, powerful, virtual presence on the Internet as well. Both companies offer affiliate programs as well. Unlike Amazon, Wal-Mart and Target offer their commission program through the LinkShare Network with commissions up to 7% of total sales referred. You can sign up by going to the homepage of each store (www.walmart.com and www.target.com) and clicking on the Affiliate Program link at the bottom of the page.

Commission Junction Commission Junction is the service many of the large corporations utilizes to manage their affiliate programs. Commission Junctions companies include, but arent limited to, Dell.com, HSN.com (Home Shopping Network), Expedia.com, Staples.com, BestBuy.com, Travelocity.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Marriott.com, Fossil.com, Ebay.com, Tommy Hilfiger, The Home Depot and Yahoo! What this means is that there is absolutely no product you cannot represent. If you want to be a travel agent, try Expedia, Marriott and Travelocity. If you like electronics, there is Dell and Best Buy and many others. The only limitation to your ability to sell is you!

Affiliate sales are tracked by a code that is embedded in each link you build from the corporate affiliate program website. This code verifies exactly what link the potential client was referred. If the link on your page redirected a consumer to buy from the corporate website, you are credited for the sale and commissions are figured.

Walk The Line (DVD) Review

Nominated for five Academy Awards, and winner of the Oscar for Best Actress (Reese Witherspoon), Walk The Line chronicles the life and times of legendary country music star Johnny Cash with an intense, and sometimes dark, intimacy. Following on the heels of the previous years Oscar Award-winning picture Ray, based on the life of Ray Charles, I entered the theater under the mistaken impression that Walk The Line would be a cookie-cutter attempt to capitalize on the various themes of that pictures commercial success. But although the dramatic personal struggle with drug addiction is prevalent in both films, Walk The Line was more than able to stand on its own as a powerful and impressionable big screen biography. And just like the aforementioned film, you leave Walk The Line with a renewed interest in the music of Johnny Cash and a deep personal attachment to the lives of Cash and his likeable wife, June Carter.

Directed by James Mangold, the talent behind such notable films as Kate & Leopold (2001) and Identity (2003), Walk The Line begins in the rough and tumble world of Depression-Era Arkansas where a young Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix) tends to the family cotton farm with his parents and older brother. Early on, a family tragedy strains the relationship between Cash and his father, providing a glimpse into the epic moment that would shape his life forever. Soon after, the film jumps to the early 1950s where Cash perfects his guitar talents while stationed overseas in the Air Force. His marriage to high school classmate Vivian Liberto lands the two in Memphis where Johnny supports the family as an appliance salesman while pursuing his musical interests on the side. Here, Cash founds The Tennessee Two with bassist Marshall Grant (Larry Bagby) and guitarist Luther Perkins (Dan John Miller), and the trio plays its way to a music deal with local label Sun Records.

As part of a promotional campaign, Cash is put on tour with other rockabilly newcomers Elvis Presley (Tyler Hilton), Jerry Lee Lewis (Waylon Payne), and Carl Perkins (Johnny Holiday). But during his tour with the quartet, the life of Johnny Cash takes numerous turns. He meets the affable June Carter (Reese Witherspoon), begins an addiction to amphetamines and alcohol, and watches his marriage to Vivian deteriorate under the strain of his constant absence. All three would come to define the next fifteen years of Cashs life as he struggled to triumph over his personal demons. Despite his all-encompassing drug addiction, Cash nevertheless manages to crank out hits, but his personal life hits rock bottom following bouts with divorce, loneliness, depression, and his continued drug addiction. When Cash reunites with June Carter in a musical collaboration, the magical bond between the two is amplified. But Johnnys addiction threatens to ruin everything theyve built together.

The most impressive aspect of Walk The Line, aside from the storyline itself, is the performance of Witherspoon and her counterpart Phoenix. Amazingly, both provide their own voiceovers, and for the casual listener, very little difference can be detected between the Hollywood talents and the real life country music legends they impersonate. Much was made of the performance of Joaquin Phoenix in the days leading up to the films release, but I came away more impressed by Witherspoon. Apparently, so did the Academy because they awarded her their highest honor for the role. What stood out the most was the actresss down-to-earth smile and charismatic mannerisms. She created a character with ample assertiveness, yet one that burst at the seams with an infectious optimism and love for life. As such, the audience cant help but fall in love with June Carter. In addition, Witherspoon displays an amazing singing voice that accurately captures the distinct and unique aspects of June Carters talent. Overall, Walk The Line is a fine film, and a fitting remembrance to the career and life of country musics greatest icon, Johnny Cash.

A Good Lemon Law Lawyer To Take You All The Way

Don't let that sweet-talking manufacturer lead you up the garden path where your rights are concerned. Violation of consumer rights is a serious offence these days and you have every right to stake your claim when stuck with a "lemon". When you are seeking justice for your "lemon" piece of automobile, it is always worthwhile to hire the services of an efficient lemon law lawyer.

Okay, don't shrink. It is true that a lemon law lawyer will be a pinch on your pocket, but you can be sure that he will save you a lot of costly legal hassles in the long run. Furthermore, there are many lemon lawyers who don't even charge you anything until you win the case.

A lemon law lawyer is the best person around to consult. He is the one to guide you through the entire process of claiming and protecting the consumer's interests. Your vehicle is classified as a "lemon" only after you and the manufacturer have explored and exhausted all the avenues of fixing it within a specified period of time. There have been instances when even though the vehicle did not fall under lemon law, a skilled lemon lawyer had been able to clinch a handsome compensation or even a replacement on grounds of breach of warranty.

If the frightened manufacturer is pestering you to go for an out-of-court settlement, consult your lemon law lawyer on whether this will abide by the rules of the Federal Trade Commission. There are statewide variations in lemon laws and in some states, it is essential that you go through a mediation procedure to be able to sue under the lemon law. It is only a skilled and knowledgeable lemon law lawyer who will be able to guide you through these intricacies of lemon laws.

By far the most obvious advantage of soliciting the help of a lemon law lawyer is that he is well versed in the ways and the tricks of the trade. The manufacturer will leave no stone unturned to deceive you and have you dancing to his tunes. A lemon law lawyer is just the perfect person to have around during these times, as he will know exactly what the manufacturer has on his mind and play his cards accordingly.

A lemon lawyer is just the person to file the lawsuit for you. These are legal formalities that involve a lot of complexities and it is best that you let someone well up in the ins and outs of law to do the paperwork for you. A good lemon lawyer knows that it is best to remain under the jury system of trial, which normally has a soft spot with the claimant who is stuck with a car making all the wrong noises.

When you are going in for a lemon law lawyer, it is best to check his credentials and experience. A lawyer with say two decades of experience in tackling lemon law cases is definitely worth his salt many times over than the greenhorn who is fresh out of college. Lemon laws differ by the state so if you are living in Wisconsin, it is always a good idea to hire the help of a lemon lawyer who has the Wisconsin lemon laws at the tip of his fingers. There is just no need to knock the doors of a New York-based lawyer.

A good lemon law lawyer is your only way out when you have a lemon stalled in your garage and want to glean something out of the notoriously stingy and unyielding car manufacturer.

Healthy Fall Housecleaning

As your calendar pages fly by, carrying you through October and into November, many of you will participate in that age-old tradition called fall housecleaning. You'll be packing up the swim toys, summer clothes, picnic baskets, and oscillating fans. Then you'll dig out the winter coats, boots, comfy afghans, fireplace tools, and, if you are lucky enough to live where snow falls, sleds and ice skates.

You'll be busy cleaning out the dust and grime tracked in by kids and dogs and by breezes blowing through open windows all the busy summer long. Before you snuggle in for the winter to enjoy family evenings around the crackling fireplace or have those holiday gatherings with all their hustle and bustle, you'll probably wax, polish, and clean your house until the fireplace glow is reflected throughout the room.

Here are a few tips to help you make the most of this time-honored tradition. Not only can you make your home clean, well ordered, and homey, ready for the long winter months, but you can actually make it a healthier place for your family and improve your own personal health as you work.

As you do your fall housecleaning, remember to focus on those areas that contribute to allergies. A multitude of things in your home can trigger allergies, from mold, to dust in bedding and on furniture, to your family pet. Even those friendly, burning candles can contribute to toxic air and allergy problems. Let's discuss these allergy-producing problem areas.

You can find mold in damp basements, refrigerator drip pans, air conditioners, garbage pails, shower stalls, and closets. There are non-toxic cleaning products that will get rid of existing mold. As an extra precaution, use exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom and open windows on low humidity days to refresh household air. Don't forget to dust and clean heating units and oil burners, checking for foreign objects in heating elements.

As you attack all that summer dust, remember that it contains allergy triggering, microscopic dust mites that feast on shed human and animal skin cells. These fecal-producing dust mites thrive in warm and humid places like beds, furniture, and carpets. After you vacuum and dust thoroughly with a vacuum that filters dust and does not allow it back into the air, use hot-water washing and high-heat drying to launder all bedding and stuffed toys. For further protection, put anti-allergen covers on bedding, even box springs and dehumidify the air, including closets and cabinets.

Remember that your family pet also contributes to toxic air and allergies. Pet dander (skin flakes) is a nearly invisible pollution that your pet releases as it grooms, releasing dander and proteins from saliva into the air. Bathe pet, using dander-reducing shampoo, and follow up with an anti-dander spray. To help keep pet dander allergies down, install HEPA filters in air and heat systems to help keep the air clean.

Have you been wondering how all this work is going to improve your own personal health? Well, I'm sure you have heard that any physical activity that raises and keeps your heart rate in its target zone for at least 20 minutes a day helps you lose weight and get fit. That includes serious housecleaning. As you scrub and polish your home, you can also tone, exercise, and oxygenate your muscles. After warming up with light activity like dusting and tidying up rooms, build up your work intensity and speed to raise your heart rate to your personal workout zone.

As you vacuum or mop, breathe deeply and lunge, switching sides to work out both arms. Put your whole body into mopping, scrubbing, or stair climbing. Swing your arms, pump your legs, and fill waiting time at the dryer or microwave with squats, push-ups, or other exercises. Turn on energizing music and dance your way through your chores. Stretch your body in every way possible as you keep your heart rate in the zone for 20 minutes. Cool down with lighter chores and enjoy your workout, knowing that not only will your fall housecleaning be done, but you will have contributed to your own personal wellness and fitness at the same time.

There's another very pleasant thing you can do this fall that will contribute to the humidity balance and oxygen level of your home and quietly clean pollutants, gasses, and toxins out of the air. You can decorate your home with air-cleansing houseplants. Palms, ferns, and ivy are especially good at removing toxic gases from the air. A plant for every 10 square yards of floor space will both cleanse and beautify your home.

As each room is completed, you may want to set a homey scene with aromatic candles. Unfortunately, candles, especially if they are scented, release toxic soot, carcinogens, and even lead (from wire wicks), that flood the air with enough pollution to ruin computers and furnishings and affect breathing, especially for people with asthma, lung, or heart disease. Fragrance oil candles and container candles don't burn cleanly and are even more dangerous than open-flame candles. You can use diffusers for aromatherapy and choose unscented candles with no petroleum products and wire-free wicks for atmosphere.

When your fall housecleaning is finished, sit back, put your feet up, relax with a cup of herbal tea before the fire, and know that both you and your family will enjoy your cleaner, healthier home in the winter months ahead.

Don't Lose An eBay eBook Sale With Silly Terms And Conditions

How many times have you seen terms similar to this at the end of a listing while browsing eBay?

"Terms and conditions! Please read before bidding".

Payment must be made within 48 hours, if payment is not made within this time negative feedback will be left and eBay will be informed.

No new users. If your feedback is below 10 please contact me before bidding or I will retract your bid.

No time wasters, scammers or fraudsters..

Why do people do this? It's not going to stop non paying bidders, fraudsters or scammers. What it is going to do is result in fewer sales. Sure, we all hate the non payers and eBay is a scammers paradise but do you really think having terms like that is going to stop it? Of course not.

"Payment must be made within 48 hours, if payment is not made within this time negative feedback will be left and eBay will be informed".

If you even hint at giving me negative feedback for any reason I will simply move on to the next auction. You have just lost a sale.

"No new users. If your feedback is below 10 please contact me before bidding or I will retract your bid".

Why pick on the newbie, we all have to start on zero feedback and most of us start by buying something. By having a silly statement like that you could have lost a customer for life.

"No time wasters, scammers or fraudsters".

Do you really think this will stop a fraudster or a scammer?

What I am trying to say here is try and make your buyers experience as pleasant and easy as possible. For me silly terms like this sound negative and if I can get the product elsewhere I simply close the page and move on to the next auction.

We can all have unpleasant experiences from time to time on eBay and it's not nice if you get scammed but don't take it out on the rest of the eBay community. I would suggest you browse your listings and take a good look at your terms and conditions and if you have any negativity in your auctions have a serious think about changing them as all you are doing is harming your own sales.

All you need to do is keep your terms simple and easy to understand and you will have more sales, guaranteed.

Breaking Your Russia Wife In To Americas Consumer Society

One of the first problems that your fianc will encounter will be shopping. In Russia, choice in products is usually limited. When she walks into a grocery store in America for the first time, it can be overwhelming.

How does she decide which brand of the sixteen types of toilet paper to buy?

I began by teaching my wife about sale items or discounts and coupons. I taught her how to comparison shop. Sometimes it is difficult to understand how the prices are listed for the products.

As we began our shopping excursions, I also taught her about brand names and quality. As you know, you may not buy certain items even when they are on sale because their quality is perceptibly lower.

With some products, quality may not differ much or matter much, say with salt or sugar. With other products, quality may matter such as with laundry detergent or ice cream.

You must also show your wife about your preferences. And as she buys things and tries things, she will develop her own preferences.

I taught my wife about stocking up on meat, chicken, or fish when they are on sale. She knows now which cuts she likes and has mastered this technique.

We live in an area that is an agricultural produce center. We have excellent fruits and vegetables at very good prices. Your fianc will have a much easier time with evaluating fruits and vegetables, because she is used to that from her home country.

However, she may not be familiar with some types of fruits and vegetables available here as they are not common in Russia. Avocados and artichokes for example.

My wife loves artichokes, but she is rather neutral about avocados. At any rate, get her maximum exposure to shopping and she will be a pro in about three to six months.

Most Russian women are natural shoppers. They are skilled at looking for bargains. One of the things I have had to teach my wife is that with big items you want a good price, but you want good quality first.

You first shop for quality, then try to get a good price for things you are going to have to live with for a while: televisions, cars, even clothing.

Fortunately, my wife now understands and agrees with my approach.

Russia is a cash economy. Your fianc is unfamiliar with checks and credit cards. She may or may not understand about bank accounts. Those are things you will have to teach her.

One of the difficult things about bringing your wife to America is that you must teach her all the things that it took most people thirty years to learn and accomplish. She must learn these things in a matter of months or a few years.

We learned about shopping through trial and error. It took us years to get educated, learn to drive a car, get a checking account, buy a house, learn to pay bills, become familiar with insurance, cable television, cell phones, microwaves, and computers.

We know how to find our way around the local community on familiar roads, how to take public transportation, how to register for school, how to take books out of the public library, and function in our society.

Your fianc has not had the benefit of living here for twenty or thirty years to learn these things over time. She must learn to live in America by taking an accelerated course.

Even household appliances like washers, driers, microwaves, and dishwashers are not common in Russia. Plus, in America, all the instructions are written in English! After a few months, she will be able to whiz around the house like she had been raised with these things.

You must get her a social security card. You must take her everywhere until she can learn to drive.

You must be patient with her while she learns English, while she learns her way around Americas consumer society, while she learns how to drive and finds a job.

After one to two years, you will be amazed at how well she excels at these things.

She is most likely highly educated and has a good profession in her home country. However, because of her limited English and because her credentials may not be valid in America, she may have to go back to school to find a career in America.

If you wish her to work right away, she can probably get the kind of job that most immigrants can get when they first come to America. She can clean houses, work in restaurants, day care, or any other jobs where English speaking ability is not a requirement.

One alternative if her English is limited is to try to find a place where other Russian-speaking people are employed.

You may want to enroll your wife in a local free school such as adult school or other community ESL program to improve her English when she gets here. Community colleges are the next step once her English has improved to a sufficient level.

Many Russian women are attractive and many retail establishments hire them for that reason. Its also a good way for them to practice their English. However, your fianc will need a certain minimum level of English to work with the public.

I advised my wife to pick a career path that she wanted to follow, and to go to school to educate herself in that career. It may take a few years until she is working, but she will be able to find a job where she will make a much higher income in the long run than if she continues to work at low paying jobs.

One idea is to find a niche for your wife teaching Russian at the local high school or community college. You can approach the administration of the school on her behalf and convince them to try it on an experimental basis. Of course, she will need a working knowledge of English in order to be able to communicate with the students.

Russian women are resourceful. They are usually highly educated and intelligent. They have developed tremendous survival skills that they learned in their own country.

Be patient and help her find her way. It will take a few years but she will find her niche and you will settle into a comfortable family life.

John Kunkle has been successfully married to a Belarussian wife for over five years. He has traveled extensively through Russia and other CIS countries. He will tell you why you should consider Russian women, how to meet them, how to bring your special woman home, and how to survive married life.Concordia Blog48173

Are Hybrid Electric Vehicles The Answer To The Out Of Control Fuel Prices?

Major car manufacturers have made claims that the hybrids are the vehicles of the future. This is due to the demand that people are now making as a way of negotiating the overpriced gas prices that have risen steadily over the past few years. The hybrid vehicle is certainly the solution that many people have been searching for.

Gas prices have increased so dramatically over the recent years that many people are using public vehicles as way of going about their everyday lives instead of using their cars. So are hybrid electric vehicles the answer?

It appears so as since the launch of hybrid vehicles and promise of cost savings the sales for many hybrid cars were much higher than expected. It is fully understandable that many people have keenly awaited the launch of the hybrid automobiles on the car market.

It's time to discuss the technical aspects of the hybrid. Such vehicles are generally referred by that name if they run on joint power. Which is currently petrol and electricity which is stored in large capacity batteries.

The reason why hybrid cars save fuel is because the car is not permanently running on petrol. There are time when the car is powered by the electricity from the batteries. This is the reason why the consumption of gasoline is dramatically lowered thus reducing the petrol bills of the owner.

Over the years the technology that is involved in making a hybrid cars is constant evolving which is helping the manufactures make significant strides in modifying and making continuous improvements.

Hybrid vehicles use a rechargeable energy storage system that is also referred to as RESS which comes with a propeller that supplies the fueled propulsion power that drives the car. Other countries refer to the hybrid automobile as a petroleum electric hybrid which also goes by the name of hybrid electric vehicle that use petrol to help provide the cars internal combustion engines, technical term being ICEs and the electric batters provide the requirement to power the electrical motors.

The major car companies from all over the world are currently in tight race to produce hybrid cars on a large scale. They seem to believe that hybrid electric vehicles the answer to many commuters large gasoline bills. The competition is getting so stiff that these types of cars are becoming more intensely marketed with the cars becoming more stylish.

Opportunities do really come in time of crises so giant car makers are rushing to each offer the consumers their own hybrid car versions and models and at the same time, underpin rising demand for such cars, equating logically to higher sales and company revenues.

Japan's Honda and Toyota corps are definitely market leaders in the race to control the hybrid car market not only in Japan but in US and many other countries from around the world. The price increase of petrol is playing a key part but also people are becoming more aware of the environment issues that arise from driving a regular vehicle on a daily basis.

Other car manufacturers follow suit, and it is expected that in the next couple of years, more and more hybrid vehicles are to be unveiled in the market by the two car makers and their aggressive competitors.

No wonder, because hybrid vehicles are tagged not only as oil and cost-saving cars but also as environment-friendly vehicles. Yes, you read it right.

Because hybrid vehicles have reduced gasoline consumption, it follows that smoke and greenhouse gas emissions are also significantly reduced.

Buying a hybrid vehicle is like killing two birds with one stone. Now only will you be saving on oil and gasoline costs but you will also be playing your part in saving the environment by cutting down on gas emissions that are having a very negative affect on the earths atmosphere.

Eating Well in Paris - First Stop at Chez Georges

When you stay in Paris for a short while only, eating out at a decent, reasonably priced restaurant may become a silly game of trial and error. In this new series of articles, I will recommend several places no traveler will ever regret having tried out!

Facing the eating-out issue

When it comes eating out in Paris, travelers unfamiliar with the city may have a hard time finding the right place to eat out. Consider it this way: you are to live, breathe and eat for a short while in a city which counts over 1,500 restaurants, in a country internationally known for its exquisite food. Where do you start from? And what guarantee do you have to hit the right spots for lunch and dinner?

A large number of my American friends select to follow their favorite travel guide's recommendations. Good thinking. But there's a downside to it: travelers tend use the same travel guides. And too many tourists kill authenticity.

The so-called 'French cuisine'

Being born and having lived in France for 30 some years before I found my true home in America, I have an in-bred tendency to be extremely picky when it comes to food. When I travel back to Paris, I especially dislike being served so-so cuisine at over-inflated prices.

By the same token I find it very hard to accept that any of my American friends touring Paris be served run-of-the-mill food posing as 'French cuisine'. Hence this new series of articles.

In the course of several recent trips to the French capital, I was introduced by local friends to a few restaurants I found to be absolutely noteworthy. My first stop will be 'Chez Georges'.

The set

'Chez Georges' stands out tall amongst my recent discoveries.

I had received an invitation for lunch from Philippe H., an attorney-at-law who specializes in brokering deals in record time. Philippe has been lunching at 'Chez Georges' for the last 20 years or so, he is a fixture of the place. He even has his own table there. A very practical state of affairs, mind you, as 'Chez Georges' always operates at full capacity, and one needs to book at least 48 hours in advance to get a table.

The decor is typical French 1920-30, with a mosaic floor, large mirrors on the walls, dark brown wood panels, and sandish paint. The restaurant is divided in two rooms, both very narrow. The first room features a bar and a row of small square tables. Being close to the door and window panes, it is well lit. The room in the back is larger, with two rows of tables. It's also darker, without any windows. The (small) kitchen is situated at the back of this room, and the restrooms another step behind.

The place is obviously packed, and very busy. It smells good food, and though guests are allowed to smoke I didn't find cigarette smoke to be an issue. The whole atmosphere is congenial, vibrant and lively. No elevator music to bother you, but your neighbors' voices may cover yours. Very Parisian, no doubt, but I saw several American folks having lunch there.

The feat

Our party of six was soon tended by Zoe the waitress, a sight for sore eyes. This smiling brunette is married to the restaurant manager, a friendly fellow who tends the bar and the cash register. Zoe has a nice word for everyone, can explain the menu in details, recommends what's right for you, and moves about diligently.

The menu at 'Chez Georges' is as varied as appetizing. Everything on it spells French tradition. We decided to order a large selection of appetizers to share, including rillettes (a sort of pate made with pork, duck or goose), pink radish, herrings, museau (beef head pate), potato salad, and other delicacies.

The goods came in generous portions, and a couple of bottles of white Sancerre helped us gulp all this down. (Sancerre is a light red or white wine. It is made from black pinot or white sauvignon, and is grown in the Touraine region.) We were served two different types of fresh bread, including a delicious Poilane bread

We then attacked the entrees: duck filet with potatoes for me, please, served pink. (In my book, duck cooked to 'done' is unpalatable.) Soon came the plates, full up. My duck filet was perfectly cooked, and thick and tender as it should be. A wonderful abundance of gorgeous food! We accompanied the main fares with a bottle of red Chinon, a wine grown in my hometown. Things to get damned for!

All is well that ends well

The dessert was as succulent as the rest of this hearty meal. I had a Tarte Tatin, an caramelized apple pie baked 'upside-down'. Apple slices are first baked on sugar, then covered with dough, and put in the oven again for a short while. When baked, the pie is turned over so that the dough now supports the apples. The result is a very tender pie, with a sweet but not overpowering taste of caramel. It is served with vanilla ice.

We all finished the meal on a good espresso. The check was very reasonable: it came to about 60 USD per person, for an unforgettable meal that included a ton of appetizers, six main fares, seven servings of dessert, 3 bottles of wine, and espressos for everyone. Expect to pay USD 30 on a lighter fare and less wine.

Though very hearty, my meal was easy to digest. I didn't feel bloated afterwards, just slightly tipsy thanks to multiple servings of light wine. The products used were of very good quality, the bread freshly baked. The service we received was diligent and friendly.

Definitely a place I recommend you, my traveling friends!
